Q: What was the best business advice you ever received?

A: Accept the fact that you just can’t please everyone – in my business, that means my customers and/or employees. Even though you will bend over backwards and practice the highest levels of customer service, which is a very important business practice here at Primrose, you simply cannot please every parent and/or employee.

Q: If you could choose another profession, what would it be?

A: I wouldn’t choose another profession. This profession is perfect for me. In my opinion, there is no greater joy in a profession than teaching and caring for young children and contributing to building a foundation for them to include a love for learning, ultimately leading to life-long success. If I had to choose another profession, it would be my second passion to children – advocating for all animals ... even the squirrels.

Q: What is the biggest risk you’ve taken in your career?

A: Leaving a large, global corporation where I had an excellent, solid job and lengthy tenure, to put everything me and my husband had in order to invest in our Primrose School. We took this risk because it was very important for us to be sure our own children had an opportunity to be cared for and educated at an early age by the best in the business, Primrose Schools.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?

A: Any third world country. It’s my desire to someday travel to a third world country where I can help teach less fortunate children how to read.
