David Eckel, president of Wagner Realty, was recently inducted into the Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of South Florida Sarasota Manatee campus. Eckel is a member of USFSM’s Community Leadership Council and a longtime adviser to the College of Business.

Esther Bodfield is the new concierge services manager, Tammy Geraldson is the new program and activities director, Cheryl Hymel is a new senior living specialist, Vicki Kerley is a new senior living specialist, and Dr. Chris Marian is the new campus pharmacist, all at Kobernick-Anchin-Benderson in Sarasota, a rental senior lifestyle community.

Dr. Ronald Cirillo has been appointed to medical director at the Bill Galvano One Stop Center Clinic at Turning Points. Dr. Cirillo’s background encompasses 30 years of private practice in gastroenterology, hepatology and internal medicine, and was attending physician at the Stamford Hospital and Diagnostic Endoscopy Center, all in Stamford, Conn. Dr. Cirillo received his doctor of medicine and surgery degree from The Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, his masters of science degree in psychology and counseling from Brooklyn College, and he received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from St. John’s University.

Chris Westfall joined Scholfield Realty Inc. as real estate agent. Westfall received numerous awards for both sales and customer service as a banking manager. She is president of Entre Nous Service Club and serves as board member of various community groups.

Jack Williams is the new vice president of construction at Lee Wetherington Homes. He previously worked for a national new homebuilder serving as their vice president of construction.

Pam Insani of The Eye Associates is May 2016 Woman of the Month by the Parrish chapter of SWAT Networking. The Successful Women Aligning Together honored Insani for her dedication, hard work and positive spirit.

Misty Servia has been appointed to the Manatee Community Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. Servia is a planning department manager with King Engineering and a candidate for the Manatee School Board, District 3.

Shannon Adkins has joined Keller Williams Realty Select as a real estate agent. Adkins has a strong background in sales and customer service.

Jessica M. Farrelly of Sarasota and Mark Martella of Punta Gorda, both attorneys, joined the lawfirm of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A. Farrelly was partner at a defense litigation firm in Boston and most recently with a management-side employment boutique firm in Sarasota. Martella joins the firm bringing with him two established law offices in Port Charlotte and Fort Meyers which will now operate under the Icard Merrill name and will consolidate its existing Port Charlotte office in favor of the new location. Martella was managing partner of his own practice and has been an active member and past president of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and Charlotte County Homeless Coalition and served as board member of United Way of Charlotte County.
