Aldi in East Manatee to open next week
MANATEE -- A new Aldi will open in Manatee County on May 11.
The grocery store, 4525 53rd Ave. E., will open at 8:45 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This will be Bradenton's second Aldi location, according to a news release.
"As Aldi continues to grow in Bradenton, we are pleased to open this location to help more smart shoppers stretch their dollars even further," Dave Rinaldo, Haines City division vice president for Aldi, said in the release. "As important as price is, there's only one way to attract and keep shoppers: You have to have quality products. When people try our Aldi exclusive brands, they are surprised by the savings and impressed by the quality."
Aldi has more than 1,500 stores in 33 states.
The new store will have a "new look, offering a modern and convenient shopping environment featuring more room for customers' favorite products, inviting colors, high ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials -- such as energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting," according to the release.
The location will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
