Manatee-Sarasota Realtor association names Greg Owens 2017 president-elect

BRADENTON -- Greg Owens, broker and owner with Keller Williams on the Water's Bradenton and Sarsota locations, has been named to serve as the 2017 president-elect for the Realtor Association of Sarasota & Manatee, or RASM.

The association was formed at the start of 2015 with the merger of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and Manatee Association of Realtors, two long standing real estate trade associations. Owens is currnently serving as the treasurer for RASM. Pending membership approval, he will serve as president-elect for a one-year term in 2017. He will be the organization's president in 2018.

Owens has been a Realtor member of RASM since 2005.

RASM has over 5,500 members. Its current president is Linda Formella, who is the manager of Michael Saunders & Co.'s Bradenton office.
