Barry Grooms and Sherry Grooms, real estate agents with The Results Team at Keller Williams on the Water, were presented with the Florida Association of Realtors 2016 Florida Honor Society Award. Barry Grooms serves as secretary for the Florida Realtor Association and Sherry Grooms serves as Florida Realtor District 13 vice president.

Debbie Gericke is the new area sales manager for Neal Communities in Lakewood Ranch. Gericke was the broker for Amelia Island Plantation Real Estate and served as director of operations for Coldwell Banker United Realtors in Destin.

Wendy Mann Resnick was honored by the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU in Miami Beach with the Breaking the Glass Ceiling Award. The award celebrates the accomplishments of Jewish women in Florida. Resnick was the executive director of United Cerebral Palsy of Sarasota/Manatee Inc. and now serves on the board of directors of Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities and is the vice chair of the City of Sarasota's Citizen with Disabilities Advisory Board.

MSgt. David A. Rodriguez-Thillet has been assigned to the Air Force recruiting office in Sarasota. As an Air Force recruiter, Rodriguez-Thillet is responsible for engaging, inspiring and recruiting the brightest, most competitive and diverse men and women for service in America's Air Force in Bradenton, Palmetto, Parrish and Ellenton areas. Prior to his assignment in Sarasota, Rodriguez-Thillet was assigned to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, as a noncommissioned officer in charge of plans and programs section.

Michael Bonner is the new director of sales for Manatee and Sarasota counties for Ad-Vance Talent Solutions in Lakewood Ranch. Bonner was a senior sales executive for Automatic Data Procession in Pittsburgh. He received a bachelor's degree in marketing/accounting and business management from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh.
