Mauren Freire has joined WBRC Architects Engineers. Freire comes to the United States from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she owned the award-winning Mauren Freire Architecture & Interior Design, specializing in residential and commercial design. Her work has been exhibited at the Casa Cor Es Exhibition and the Morar Mais. Freire is a graduate of FAAP -- Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, where she earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and urbanism. Freire has lived in Australia, Switzerland and Japan.
Jean Grace has joined KB Pension Services Inc. as a senior pension consultant. Grace holds the designations of qualified pension administrator and certified employee benefits specialists and is an enrolled retirement plan agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
Paul H. Lento, M.D., with Sarasota Orthopedic Associates, has been named a "Top Doc" for the third consecutive year by the auditing firm of Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Physicians are nominated by their peers and selections are made after careful review of the Castle Connolly physician-directed research team. Lento is fellowship trained and triple board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Craig Copeman has been named CEO/team leader for Keller Williams on the Water at the downtown Bradenton office. Copeman joined Keller Williams in 2012.
Samantha "Sam" Phillips of Kerkering, Barberio & Co., Certified Public Accountants, has passed her CPA exam. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Franklin University. Her primary area of practice is in audits.
