What was the best business advice you ever received?

The customer comes first, especially in this business because 90 percent that come in are referrals. Thinking of the clients' needs, that's key.

If you could choose another profession, what would it be?

I have already chosen another profession, this one. I used to be in the marketing department at Arthur Anderson. I quit before they went down. As I had to work with graphic artists creating artwork I was exposed to photoshop and digital printing and the bug kind of bit me. I also would like to try my hand at writing fiction.

What is the biggest risk you've taken in your career?

Leaving my job at Arthur Anderson and starting this business. We survived the financial crisis and had to shed some employees. At some point it came down to just me but we survived and we are doing well.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?

Barcelona, Spain. I am originally from Cuba, which is an amazing country, but my ancestors came from the Barcelona region of Spain and that's why I would start there.
