Jayne DiGiovanni-Carter has joined Tim Lester International Realty Inc. in Palmetto. She moved to Manatee County in 1981 and started working as the real estate agent more than 20 years ago. Previously, she managed 281 properties for the late attorney James M. Wallace. Jon Kent has joined the Bradenton office of Coastline West Realty of Florida. He has been licensed in Florida since 1986. Kent and his wife, Lee, moved to Anna Maria Island in 1984 and live in Bradenton.
Christopher M. Chiaro, shareholder for KB Pension Services, has been named president of the company. As president and shareholder, Chiaro is responsible for managing the firm, plan administration and business development. His focus will include creative plan design, plan document preparation and sales support to advisers and senior level administrators. Former President John Cotterman will remain active as vice president of KB Pension Services.
SkinSmart Dermatology recently added Gabrielle Gorzelnik, a licensed physician assistant, and Molly Prichard, a registered nurse practitioner to the practice. They bring the number of staff to nearly 40. Prichard, who is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, joined the team as a dermatologic fellow last year and is now a full-time medical practitioner. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the University of South Florida. She has nursing experience in dermatology, family practice, oncology and women's health. Gorzelnik, who has more than 10 years of adult and pediatric medical dermatology experience in New Jersey, will start in a few weeks. She graduated from Drexel University with an advanced master's degree in physician assistant studies.
Michelle Detweiler of IRISS was named chairwoman for the board of directors of Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee for 2016.
Vice chairwoman is Bambi Forristall of Forristall Enterprises Inc., and the treasurer is Terry Gubbins, a retired pharmacist and a community volunteer. Joining the board this year is Gary Simone of First Choice Industries and The Ranch Grill. Simone has been a supporter of the organization for several years.
Family and criminal law attorney Kenneth M. Poole Jr. has been named a partner in the Sarasota law firm of Syprett Meshad. He joined the firm in 2009, and has focused on assisting clients in a variety of marital, divorce and domestic-related issues including child custody and child support issues. He is a member of the Florida Bar and a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Before joining Syprett Meshad, Poole served as an assistant state attorney in the 12th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He received his law degree in 2005 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He also completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at UF in 2001.
