Kevin Hart has joined Coastline West Realty of Florida's Bradenton office as a sales associate. Hart graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a bachelor's degree in business and has worked for FedEx for more than 20 years. He is originally from Mansfield, Ohio, and moved to Bradenton in 1991.

Goodwill Manasota's director of the veterans services program, C.J. Bannister, was named the John H. McLain 2015 Woman Veteran of the Year by the Sarasota County Veterans Commission. Bannister, who is a U.S. Air Force veteran, was hired September 2014 to lead Goodwill's efforts on behalf of area veterans.

Healthy Earth Inc., an aquaculture and sustainable food enterprise, will expand and modify its management team structure to handle its rapid growth. A five-member executive committee will manage the company operations day to day. The committee will include Robert Bartner, Christopher Cogan and Russell Vernon. New members are Jeff Sedacca, president of the Shrimp and Aquaculture Division of National Fish and Seafood, and Paul Brooke, co-founder and managing partner of venBio and previously global head of healthcare research and strategy at Morgan Stanley. Sedacca, a long-time entrepreneur in aquaculture, will set the goals and objectives for and lead the operating companies. Brooke will lead investor relations and development activities with Katherine Harris, former member of Congress and Florida secretary of state. Brooke and Sedacca have served Healthy Earth as advisers and have now been made partners in the firm.

Mainsail Lodging & Development has promoted Tom Haines and Brandon Marshall to regional director of operations and corporate director of sales, respectively. Both Haines and Marshall are managers of Mainsail's Epicurean Hotel in Tampa. As regional director of operations, Haines new responsibilities will include support for the October 2016 opening of the Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club in Anna Maria Island, and promoting overall growth of Mainsail. Marshall will transition from director of sales of the hotel to corporate director of sales for Mainsail Lodging & Development. In his new role, Marshall will oversee sales and revenue management operations for the Epicurean Hotel and Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina -- Mainsail's private-island resort in the British Virgin Islands -- while also assisting in the successful opening of Waterline.

Jamie Smith has been named the director of communications and marketing for the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. She has more than 15 years of experience working in marketing, public relations, web development, graphic design and communications. Smith holds master's degree in business administration and bachelor's degree in business, both with concentrations in marketing. She formerly worked as the director of marketing for the Jewish Family and Children's Service of the Suncoast. Smith is past board president of Sarasota County's National Alliance on Mental Illness.
