What was the best business advice you ever received?

Follow your passion, always continue learning both from the medical field and from your patients, and be open to new ideas.

If you could choose another profession, what would it be?

I would be an educator. I have done that in the past and became very involved in essential oils and how to use it in both massage and applying it on acupuncture points. As a certified aromatouch teacher, I instruct practitioners and patients how to use essential oils in their daily health practice.

What is the biggest risk you've taken in your career?

I am always taking risks. I moved from Boston to Michigan to Florida where I invested in medical facilities where I was communicating with 100 physicians trying to integrate western and eastern medicine. That was in the 1980s. I was ahead of my time as a lot more physicians today are using the technique.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?

I would travel the United States and visit all the national parks. I visited a lot of countries, I'm not saying I won't visit those again but we have a lot of beauty in our own country.
