Darwin Brewing Co. hires top new brewer

BRADENTON -- Craft brewery Darwin Brewing Co. added brewer Leslie Shore to its team this week, which includes Chef Darwin Santa Maria and Brewmaster Jorge Rosabal.

Shore began making her own beer in 2009 with a home brew kit purchased from Booth's Brewing in Brandon. Her interests matured into a career when she took on a position with Booth's before opening ESB Brewing as head brewer.

Darwin Brewing Co. produces year-round and limited release beers are now available across South Florida and in the Bradenton taproom.

Darwin Brewing Co., 803 17th Ave. W., is open at 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday.
