Public meeting to discuss deep injection well proposal

Members of the Manatee County Board of Commissioners will discuss the Class I deep injection well during a public work session on Tuesday.

The early-afternoon session begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Manatee Room on the fourth floor of the Manatee County Administration Complex at 1112 Manatee Ave. W. Commissioners previously discussed the injection well system in a work session in early 2013. That discussion covered both the deep injection well and two shallower wells the county plans to build at Port Manatee.
