New ‘business hotel’ planned for Manatee County, records show. See where
A proposed Lakewood Ranch hotel would bring lodging for business travelers, according to paperwork filed with Manatee County Development Services.
The 120-room Silverfalls Business Hotel is planned for a roughly 4.5-acre strip of land at the southwest corner of Silver Falls Run and White Eagle Boulevard, next to a pond, according to building records.
The hotel would be situated just north of State Road 70 East, behind Our Lady of the Angels Catholic church.
If the county approves the hotel, construction is planned to begin in June, according to building records.

A fitness center and swimming pool are potential additional amenities, along with meeting space for business travelers and small group events, records show.

Schroeder-Manatee Ranch owns the land, according to property records.
A completion date for the hotel, if approved, has not been announced.
