Pup paradise? Bradenton gets new doggy daycare with spa treatments and more
A new doggy daycare and overnight boarding facility is set to open Saturday in Bradenton.
Hounds Town USA, which began in 2000 on Long Island, New York, is opening a Manatee County location at 3611 First St. E., Unit 1010, according to a news release.
The company operates on a franchise model and has over 90 locations in 22 states, according to its website.
Florida natives Aaron and Patti Jaeger own the new Bradenton location. Hounds Town USA’s services include an interactive dog daycare, overnight pet boarding and stress-free spa treatments, the release said.
“Aaron and I have had the pleasure of fostering dogs over the last three years and when the opportunity arose to join Hounds Town, it was a no-brainer,” Patti Jaeger said in the news release.
Dogs are grouped to match their size and temperament so they can play all day in a safe and fun social environment, according to Hounds Town.
The company also has a “no breed discrimination” policy.
“There’s a big need for the unique services that Hounds Town offers in the area and we’re thrilled to open our doors and connect with residents and their beloved companions,” Patti Jaeger said.
Former New York Police Department canine handler Michael S. Gould founded Hounds Town USA.
The Bradenton location is offering a grand opening special of three free days of daycare for pet owners who book an “initial evaluation” for their dog.
