Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay’s largest, announces small biz of year finalists

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce, with 2,036 businesses and organizations as members, has again been recognized as the largest chamber in the Tampa Bay area.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal based the ranking on research conducted in June.

“We are honored that the Manatee Chamber is once again at the top of the list because it speaks directly to the strength and involvement of our local business community,” Jacki Dezelski, president and CEO of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, said in a press release.

“This ranking reflects our 2,000-plus members’ investment and belief in the Manatee Chamber’s mission,” she said.

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce, with offices in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, has also received past recognition as a National Chamber of the Year award winner and is the only four-time winner of the Florida Chamber of the Year award.

“There is incredible value and opportunity that comes with membership,” Rick Bisio, owner of The Educated Franchisee and the 2022 chairman of the board of the Manatee Chamber, said in the press release.

“The influence of the Manatee Chamber starts with our role and responsibility as the voice of business in our community. We have more than 2,000 businesses – from across the greater Manatee County region - informing and supporting that voice. We offer connections and programming unlike any other organization,” Besio said.
