Here is the best senior living in Bradenton and Sarasota, U.S. News & World Report says
U.S. News & World Report has listed several Bradenton area facilities among its 2022-23 Best Senior Living Communities.
“Until now, families have had limited information when comparing providers of independent living, assisted living, memory care or continuing care,” Ben Harder, managing editor and chief of health analysis at U.S. News, said in a press release.
“The Best Senior Living ratings fill this informational gap with comprehensive and transparent data to help older consumers and their families identify high-quality senior living communities that meet their needs and preferences,” Harder said.
The inaugural Best Senior Living ratings and profiles offer comprehensive information and analysis of consumer satisfaction data by evaluating such factors as community and activity, food and dining, caregiving, and management and staff for nearly 2,500 communities in the continental U.S. and Hawaii.
U.S. News listed these facilities as Best Senior Living Communities:
▪ Freedom Village, 6406 21st Ave. W., Bradenton, received a Best rating for Independent Living.
▪ The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch, 11705 Evening Walk Drive, Lakewood Ranch, received a Best rating for Assisted Living and for Memory Care.
▪ Discovery Village at Sarasota Bay, 1414 69th Ave. W., Bradenton, received a Best rating for Independent Living, for Assisted Living and for Memory Care.
▪ Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch, 5424 Lena Road, Bradenton, received a Best rating for for Assisted Living and for Memory Care.
▪ Windsor Reflections, 8230 Natures Way, Lakewood Ranch, received a Best rating for Assisted Living and for Memory Care.
▪ The Windsor of Bradenton, 2800 60th Ave. W, Bradenton, received a Best rating for Assisted Living.
▪ Brookdale Deer Creek Sarasota, 8450 McIntosh Road, Sarasota, received a Best rating for Memory Care.
▪ Aston Gardens at The Courtyards, 231 Courtyards Blvd., Sun City Center, received a Best rating for Independent Living, for Assisted Living and for Memory Care.
▪ Aston Gardens at Sun City, 1311 Aston Gardens Court, Sun City Center, received a Best rating for Independent Living.
▪ Freedom Plaza, 1010 American Eagle Blvd, Sun City Center, received a Best rating for Memory Care.
The U. S. News & World Report survey included residents and families from over 3,000 independent, assisted and memory care communities.
