A popular Bradenton restaurant closed in January. It is about to reopen
The Boiler Room Bar & Grill, 5600 Manatee Ave. W., which closed in January, is expected to reopen in about two weeks with the same menu and a new management team.
Matt LaVallee, 62, who took over the business in 1983, will be back, too, but in a more limited capacity.
“I will follow it from the back seat,” he said this week.
“I have had so many calls from the community. The Boiler Room will open again after serving customers from Manatee County and elsewhere for so many years,” LaVallee said.
Tristan Ruiz has been named manager.
