8 floors up and overlooking the water, The Deck open-air bar opens on Bradenton riverfront
The long-anticipated opening of the Oak & Stone rooftop bar has finally arrived.
Crowning the eight-story SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, The Deck opened to the public 11:30 a.m. Monday.
The hotel, located on the Bradenton riverfront at 102 12th St. W., opened in May.
The 3,400-square-foot Oak & Stone offers a panoramic view of the Manatee River, and 20 self-serve taps for craft beers and ciders. Also available are wine selections, cocktails, and a limited menu with light bites and shareable plates.
“We’re excited to be here in downtown Bradenton with the official opening of The Deck at Oak & Stone. As you can see there is a beautiful vista view from the rooftop here on the eighth floor of the SpringHill Suites. Today is the official first day of opening and gives us something brand-new in the Oak & Stone family,” said Sam Aguilar, director of operations.
The open-air space has several seating areas with umbrellas, low-top tables and fire pits for a capacity of about 150.
Oak & Stone also has a 4,300-square-foot first floor restaurant that opened in the same hotel Dec. 2 and offers a mix of craft beer, pizza and gourmet fare.
Upstairs on the Deck or downstairs at the main restaurant, guests can sample from 68 rotating varieties of ciders and American craft beers..
Guests at Oak & Stone can access the rooftop bar through the first-floor restaurant’s elevator. Hotel guests can enter Oak & Stone and The Deck at Oak & Stone directly through the hotel. To-go, in-room service, catering and pool service will be provided by the tavern.
Hours of operation for the rooftop bar, weather permitting, will be from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. The Deck will be closed on Christmas day.
