Kristen H. Ehrlich was hired as an attorney at Bradenton-based Blalock Walters, P.A. She practices in the areas of estate planning, including trust and estate taxation, as well as business tax planning and Florida sales tax. She is experienced in developing solutions to sophisticated income and tax planning, complex corporate structuring, business mergers and acquisitions, and financial transactions. Ehrlich joins the firm from Ernst & Young in Boston, where she was transaction tax senior associate, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the life science sector.

Kathryn Sandberg was hired as a realtor at Michael Saunders & Company’s Anna Maria Island office. With more than 45 years’ experience, Sandberg has been helping customers buy and sell homes since 1973. Her career-long approach was founded on the basic principle of honesty and integrity, always putting her buyers’ and sellers’ interests first and working tirelessly to provide an excellent customer experience. A resident of Holmes Beach for nearly two decades, Sandberg takes pleasure in revealing the island’s many treasures to those who are relocating to the area.

Dan Kiehl, a Sarasota native, joined Sarasota-based Alliance Group Mortgage as a mortgage loan originator. He has an extensive professional background that began in the retail industry, where he served in a management capacity. For the past 12 years, Kiehl has been a mortgage consultant, and he prides himself on keeping in touch with clients, many of whom have returned to him throughout the years for their mortgage needs.

Laura McManus-Mesia was named the chief development officer for the Jewish Family and Children’s Service of the Suncoast, Inc., a fully accredited, community-based social service nonprofit. In McManus-Mesia’s new role, she will support the CEO and further the mission of the JFCS by increasing its financial sustainability through the development of a viable philanthropy program. With more than 15 years’ experience in nonprofit leadership, McManus-Mesia will oversee the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies, communications and public relations, and coordinate with the organization’s other departments to increase awareness and fundraising.

Barbara (Bobbi) Marchbank was hired as a sales associate at A Paradise Realty in Ellenton. A lifelong Manatee County resident, Marchbank is a licensed cosmetologist in addition to being a licensed real estate agent.
