Ken Swan, the manager of Wagner Realty’s Business Brokerage Group and based in Lakewood Ranch, was elected president of the Saint Leo University Alumni Association. The alumni association has approximately 81,000 members representing all 50 states as well as 92 countries. Swan is a member of the 1967 charter graduating class of Saint Leo and served as alumni treasurer for four years.

Shelley Whiteside was promoted to regional marketing director for the Sarasota area for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. She will be tasked with the development and execution of regional marketing plans, media buying and corporate training, covering offices in Manatee County, Sarasota County and the Tampa Bay area. She previously served as a regional marketing manager.

David M. Silberstein, of the Sarasota-based Silberstein Law Firm, PLLC, was selected as a 2017 Florida Super Lawyer in estate planning and probate. He has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer every year since 2006 – the honor is awarded to only 5 percent of attorneys in Florida each year. Super Lawyers is a rating service covering more than 70 practice areas that honors lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Kristin Triolo joined RE/MAX Platinum Realty as a broker associate in the Sarasota office. She specializes in residential green properties, working with buyers and sellers of new homes, resales, condos, country club and golf course properties, waterfront homes and estates, investment real estate, and vacant land throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties. Triolo has 14 years of local real estate experience and has served the industry at the local, state and national levels. She is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) and Florida State Governor of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR).
