Carlos Puente was named vice president of sales for Neal Communities’ north region and will be based in Lakewood Ranch. Puente will lead a team of more than 30 people – from Tampa to Englewood -- and will focus on strategic planning for sales, enhancing the sales process and continuing to ensure a structure to help reach goals each month. The University of Florida graduate brings more than 10 years of experience in real estate to his new position.

Barbara Lewis Bourgoin was hired as the director of development and will lead fundraising efforts for scholarships, equipment and capital campaigns for the State College of Florida Foundation. She has been working in fundraising for more than a decade in Manatee and Sarasota counties. She comes to the SCF Foundation after serving as chief development officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County.

Cabot Hart was promoted to chief credit officer at Premier Community Bank’s Bradenton location. In his new role, Hart will manage a team of credit analysts and loan operations professionals, oversee the existing loan portfolio, manage credit quality and ensure that the bank adheres to credit policy and underwriting guidelines. He had more than 32 years of experience in banking and finance when he joined Premier Community Bank in March.

Lori Sutton joined IBERIA Wealth Advisors in Sarasota as a vice president. A veteran of the financial services industry with 23 years of experience, Sutton will be responsible for providing fiduciary services and asset management strategies to help individuals, families and charitable organizations with their financial planning needs. She earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation in 2011.

Jon Patella, an agent in Wagner Realty’s downtown Sarasota office, received an award from the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation for his service as treasurer from 2014-17. The Alliance is comprised of 203 residents, visitors, artists, architects, engineers, historians, builders, archaeologists, realtors, planners, designers and writers working to preserve not only the remaining significant landmarks, but also the contributing structures that define Sarasota.

Kathy Marshall joined Michael Saunders & Company in its Anna Maria Island branch. She got her start in the property appraisal field and was a rental consultant and owner/operator for 24 years. A resident of northwest Bradenton for more than a decade, Marshall has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Florida and a bachelor of fine arts degree from Salisbury University in Maryland.

Dr. John Harkess (total joint specialist) and Dr. Justin Sirianni (pain management specialist) joined Bradenton-based Coastal Orthopedics Sports Medicine and Pain Management. The additions bolster Coastal Orthopedics’ services and augments its growing patient base. The practice has specialty-trained doctors in the areas of foot and ankle, hand and wrist, joint replacement, orthopedic, pain management, shoulder and elbow, spine and sports medicine.
