Aldi hiring for Bradenton area locations, with pay up to $24 per hour

The Aldi grocery chain will hold a job fair on Sunday, Aug. 27, in Lakewood Ranch as its looks to hire for store associate, shift manager and manager trainee positions at its Bradenton area locations.

The hiring event is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Sarasota, 6021 Exchange Way, Lakewood Ranch.

Available positions pay $12 (store associate), $16.50 (shift manager) and $24 (manager trainee) per hour, and employees who average 25 hours a week are eligible for health and dental benefits. All employees are allowed to participate in the 401(K) program.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available to work any time between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday-Saturday. All applicants will be subject to a drug screening and a background check. Those with retail experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred, according to an Aldi representative

Aldi has three locations in Manatee County:

• 4705 Cortez Road W., Bradenton;
• 4525 53rd Ave. E, Bradenton;
• 605 10th St. E., Palmetto.

Aldi operates more than 1,600 stores in 35 states across the U.S.
