Mihaela Zdrali was hired by nonprofit mental health and addiction services organization Centerstone as its vice president of outpatient services for its Florida operations. Centerstone of Florida provides mental health and addiction services to more than 15,000 people a year in Manatee and Sarasota counties, and is the 10th-largest employer in Manatee County. Zdrali recently relocated to Bradenton from London, where she was the lead counseling psychologist and deputy operations director for an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center.

Nicholas J. Zek Jr. was promoted to vice president of financial and retirement plan services at Boyd Insurance and Investment Services in Bradenton. Zek recently celebrated his 33rd anniversary with the company and is active in civic and community organizations in Bradenton, Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch.

George McGonagill was named vice president of facilities for Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay, an active retirement community. Before being named to his new position, McGonagill was Plymouth Harbor’s project director for its Northwest Garden Building, which is scheduled to open late this year and include 30 memory care, 30 assisted living and 10 luxury apartment residences.

Jack W. Brown III, a second-generation collection agency owner and president of Gulf Coast Collection Bureau, Inc., in Sarasota, will be the president-elect of ACA International for the 2017-18 term. A long-time ACA member, Brown was elected to ACA’s board of directors in July 2015 and served as the 2016-17 treasurer. Brown graduated from Florida State with a bachelor’s degree in business management and earned a Juris Doctor and MBA from Stetson’s College of Law.
