Here’s what sold for nearly $16 million in Manatee County

A local apartment complex recently sold for eight figures.

River Trace Apartments, previously owned by River Oaks Housing Partners Ltd., sold to Bradenton Leased Housing Associates III LLLP for $15,949,500, according to Manatee County records.

The apartments, located at 2710 River Trace Circle, consist of 178 units and sit on 17.5 acres. The two-story complex was built in 2001 and rents out one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments that range from 250 to 1,065 square feet.

That wasn’t the only apartment-related purchase to appear in the most-recent property transactions report.

Bayside Villas Apartments, at 602 20th Lane E. in Palmetto, sold for $2.675 million. The complex was built in 1986 and sits on 8.5 acres, and has 44 units. The garden-style apartments offer one- and two-bedroom units in 700- and 900-square foot varieties. Owned by Palmetto Equities LLC since 2013, it was purchased by CFC Gomez Inc, a Tampa-based organization.

Other notable real estate transactions in Manatee County:

  • A residential amenities property located on Buffalo Road in Palmetto was purchased by Gateway Commons of Manatee LLC for $3,050,000.
  • A mixed-use commercial property at 314 Pine Ave. on Anna Maria Island sold for $1.1 million. Previously owned by Sandfish LLC, the property was purchased by Joseph and Laurie Sabath.
