Universal Flight Services to hold aviation career day

Interested in a career in aviation?

If so, Universal Flight Services will hold its inaugural aviation career day from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday at 8140 15th Street E. in Sarasota.

The event is geared toward connecting those considering aviation opportunities with industry professionals.

Carriers expected to participate include ExpressJet, Frontier Airlines, GoJet Airlines, Republic Airways, Silver Airways and Tropic Ocean Airways.

“We are passionate advocates of aviation careers in the Sarasota-Bradenton area,” Universal Flight Training vice president Jacob Kyser said. “We hope to foster meaningful connections for or local community of aspiring pilots, mechanics and other professionals by hosting this event.”
