New Goodwill bookstore on Manatee Avenue opening soon
A little more than two months after it closed for renovations, the Goodwill location at 5512 Manatee Ave. W. is nearly ready to reopen for business.
Only this time, it will be an art and bookstore instead of a traditional Goodwill retail store.
The renovated location will open on June 22 and have 5,800 square feet of space and increase the number of Goodwill Manasota retail stores to 17 in Manatee, Sarasota, DeSoto and Hardee counties.
In April, Goodwill Manasota opened a new store at 3465 Cortez Road W. with more than 19,000 square feet of retail space.
In addition to the soon-to-open location on Manatee Avenue, Goodwill Manasota also has nearby bookstores at 7200 55th Ave. E. in Bradenton and 5831 Derek Ave. in Sarasota.
