Apartment complex, agricultural land sell for combined $13.35 million
The top real estate purchase in Manatee County in the most recent property report is a 50-year-old apartment complex.
According to county records, David L. Weiler and Edna Z. Weiler purchased Oakridge rentals at 501 14th St. W. for $7 million on May 16.
The Palmetto complex, which was built in 1967, is comprised of 144 renovated duplex units, according to county records.
Listings at loopnet.com show that the 620-square-foot units are two-bedroom, one-bath with rent at $625 per month. The seller, Top 3% Inc., is managed by Louis F. Eurice and Larry R. Harrison.
Another big transaction came when Willow Lake Holdings bought 187 acres of Palmetto land from Cone & Graham Inc., a road and bridge construction company based in Florida, for $6.35 million.
County records show the property as being grazing land with agricultural use exemption. Records indicate that Cone & Graham initially purchased the land on Oct. 10, 2013, for nearly $3.3 million from White Oak Development.
