Some Southwest fares fall below $100 for round-trip flight

Southwest’s twice-a-year three-day sale runs through Thursday, with flights beginning at $49 each way. Fares increase to $79, $99 and $129 each way based on the distance of the flight.
The sale started Tuesday and is good for travel from Aug. 22-Dec. 13, although some restrictions apply.
From Tampa International Airport, fares to Havana start at $89 each way, and a round-trip flight to Reagan National in Washington, D.C., can be had for $144.

- To Fort Lauderdale, starting at $49 or 2,330 points one-way
- To Havana, starting at $89 or 2,520 points one-way
- To Indianapolis, starting at $99 or 5,679 points one-way
- To Kansas City, starting at $127 or 7,554 points one-way
- To Louisville, starting at $99 or 5,645 points one-way
- To Memphis, starting at $94 or 5,310 points one-way
