Coming soon to Manatee County

Here’s what’s coming soon to Manatee County, according to county permit and planning records:

▪  Plans have been filed with Manatee County Building and Development Services for a 1,200-square-foot Murphy Oil convenience store and gas station with six multi-dispensing fuel stations in the Wal-Mart shopping center at State Road 70 and Interstate 75.

▪  Aldi, under the name Sunus Corp., applied for a commercial construction permit on April 26 to build a store at 5715 14th St. W., which will replace a former Sonny’s BBQ location. Aldi has two stores in Bradenton and one in Palmetto.

▪  Bayside Pet Resort of Lakewood Ranch plans to build a 14,600-square-foot pet resort on a 68-acre parcel at 15210 SR 70 E. Bayside Pet Resort has locations in Sarasota, University Park and Osprey.

▪  The B12 Store will move into a location just beyond the Manatee County line in The Mall at University Town Center. The store sells dietary supplements, vitamins and body performance injections, such as a Fat Burning Lipotropic B12 Shots, according to the store’s website. The B12 Store applied for a business use permit with Sarasota County on May 17.
