Neal Signature Homes spends $3.24 million in Country Club East

Neal Signature Homes increased its ever-growing portfolio of land in Lakewood Ranch in mid-January with a $3.24 million purchase.

Neal Signature Homes, a custom home-building company established in 1970 and based in Manatee County, bought another two dozen lots in the Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch community. Starwood Capital Group, under the name SLV II CCE Venture LP sold the two dozen lots to Neal Signature Homes LLC, according to Manatee County property records.

Demand by homebuilders and community developers for space in Country Club East is heating up. Last week, Starwood sold more than $20 million worth of land in Country Club East to WCI Communities, Stock Development and John Cannon Homes. Starwood Capital Group is the company behind publicly traded firms such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Property Trust and TRI Pointe Homes.

Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch is located east of Lorraine Road and north of The Lake Club. Lakewood Ranch is an award-winning master-planned community developed by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc.
