Riverside Medical Center building sells for $10.4 million

The Riverside Medical Center, located east of Manatee Memorial Hospital, sold for $10.4 million at the end of September, according to Manatee County property records.

Riverside Mob LLP sold the 76,700-square-foot building, built in 1980, and a nearby parcel to HTA Riverside LLC on Sept. 22. Riverside Mob bought the property in June 2011 from TW Riverside LLC for $3.7 million, according to county property records.

HTA Riverside is owned by publicly owned company Healthcare Trust of America, Inc., based in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to Florida corporate records. Healthcare Trust of America owns several medical office buildings in California, Texas, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Indiana, North Carolina, Arizona and New York, according to the Healthcare Trust of America website.

No information for Riverside Mob LLP was found in the Florida corporate records search.

The Riverside Medical Center is home to many medical and office tenants, including MCR Health Services and Manatee Diagnostic Center.
