FuturePlans could help land that dream job
Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
At CareerSource Suncoast, we spend many of our days working with career seekers on the finer points of landing that job – writing a great resume, honing your interview answers and crafting compelling cover letters.
But long before the process of applying for that dream job is where the hardest work comes. How do you know what’s the right job for you? What careers line up with your interests?
At CareerSource Suncoast, we have made a big investment in those questions this year by partnering with the Pinellas Education Foundation to deliver FuturePlans. There are many assessments out there on the market, but FuturePlans is able to combine careers with interests and aptitudes as well as cognitive recognition.
From there, it links you back to do in-demand careers in our area. All of this can be done online at any time.
From high school students trying to figure out what major or career to pursue after graduation to the 30-year veteran in our Suncoast Professional Network, we believe that the time spent completing FuturePlans will pay big dividends in finding that job you’ll love.
