Parrish is getting a Starbucks. Here’s where latest coffee shop is planned

A popular coffee chain is adding a store to a Parrish shopping plaza.

Construction is underway for Starbucks and additional parking behind Aqua Tequila in the Creekside Commons plaza located off U.S. 301 North.

According to a Benderson Development spokesperson, the Starbucks has a projected opening date of spring 2027.

It will go in a 2,500-square-foot building with a drive-thru, the spokesperson said in an email.

Starbucks, which began in 1971, has more than 40,000 worldwide locations, including several in Manatee County.

However, the Creekside Commons location will be a first for Parrish. The nearest store to Parrish in the county is in nearby Ellenton near 60th Avenue East off U.S. 301 North.

Starbucks serves a variety of hot and cold coffees, matchas, hot and cold teas, refreshers and bottled beverages. The coffee chain also has some breakfast, bakery and lunch items on its menu.

According to building records, the additional parking under construction is behind Aqua Tequila on the plaza’s eastern side.

Starbucks is getting built just south of there, to the east of a dentistry, according to records.

Developed by Benderson, Creekside Commons is home to several businesses. They include Lowe’s, Crunch Fitness, Osaka Sushi & Grill, Aqua Tequila, Good Liquid Brewing, Ulta Beauty, Aldi, HomeGoods, Five Guys, Jersey Mike’s Subs, 3 Natives, Panera Bread Company, First Watch, The Hungry Greek, Verizon Wireless, Jersey Girl Bagels, Chicken Salad Chick, Oar & Iron Raw Bar & Grill and more.
