Hometown Heroes | Bradenton Christian alum Josh Clark paving way for Dartmouth's perfect football start
Offensive lineman typically get noticed when something wrong happens on the football field, whether it's a missed blocking assignment or a false start penalty.
But for Bradenton Christian alum Josh Clark, he's getting noticed for how his college team is doing this year.
Dartmouth is unbeaten at 5-0, ranked No. 25 in the latest Football Championship Series (Division I-AA) STATS Poll and shares the top spot in the Ivy League with Harvard.
Last year, Clark appeared in eight of 10 games as the Big Green produced 416.6 total yards per game. This season, the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder has given Dartmouth a chance at securing the Ivy League title for the first time since the 1996 season.
Clark has started all five Dartmouth victories at left guard, and the Big Green have produced 464.6 total yards per game and 38 points per game with Clark on the line.
Next up for Clark and Dartmouth is a home game against Columbia on Satur
day, before facing Harvard in what could determine the Ivy League championship on Friday, Oct. 30.
