Astonishing: Manatee County closes parks on holidays
Great weather, temperatures in the upper 70s, not a cloud in the sky and it is a holiday, Presidents’ Day. Kids are off school, postal employees are off, banks are closed, so many folks looking for something recreational to do. How about tennis or pickleball or even a swim at the wonderful G.T. Bray Park?
Oh wait, the park is closed on holidays! I’m dumbfounded!
