Manatee detectives look for man wanted in connection with fatal Bradenton shooting
MANATEE -- Detectives with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office have obtained an arrest warrant for murder for a man wanted in connection with the recent fatal shooting of a man in Bradenton.
Kyle Dewayne Stackhouse, who turned 27 Sunday, is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Nicolette Johnson at 1:51 a.m. Monday, according to the release.
Johnson was found shot to death early in the 4300 block of Eighth Street Court East. Detectives found Johnson lying in the driveway of his residence with gunshot wounds, deputies said. He was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Dave Bristow, spokesman for the sheriff's office, told the Herald earlier this week he believes it was a targeted attack.
Anyone with information on Stackhouse's whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff's office at 941-747-3011 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
