No charges filed in road rage shooting
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that no criminal charges will be filed in Wednesday’s shooting that involved two drivers engaged in a dispute in the area of Washington Boulevard and 57th Street.
Detectives say that Stephen Fernald, 75, shot 21-year-old Hunter R. Bradley of Lakewood Ranch in self-defense.
Bradley was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to the shoulder area and has been released.
