Death investigation underway after man’s body found
A death investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in Sarasota, according to police.
Just after 3 p.m. Friday, the adult victim’s body was found in the 1800 block of 17th Street in Sarasota but detectives do not suspect foul play, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
Police have not yet released the victim’s identity as they work to find his next of kin.
Cause of death will be pending the Medical Examiner’s Office investigation.
