Deputies investigates deaths of man, woman found in Bradenton mobile home

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of an elderly couple whose bodies were found Friday morning in a Bradenton mobile home.

Deputies responded to a call for a welfare check at a mobile home in the 5800 block of 14th Street West, and found the bodies of a 73-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman. The victims, who were last seen Tuesday, were boyfriend and girlfriend, according to a news release.

Sheriff's spokesman Dave Bristow said the man and woman had been ill for a while, and no foul play was suspected.

Autopsies are being conducted to determine causes of death, according to the sheriff's office.
