5 escape Bradenton house fire
Five people and two pets were able to escape a house fire in Bradenton early Tuesday, according to the Bradenton Fire Department.
Five fire units responded to a house in the 1000 block of Sixth Street East around 6:06 a.m., according to the fire department. The fire was extinguished around 6:15 a.m., leaving more than $30,000 worth of damage.
Of the five people who escaped, two were children.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
