Sea plane crashes in Sarasota Bay

No one was injured after a sea plane attempted to land and flipped in Sarasota Bay on Wednesday.

The pilot was the only person aboard at the time, and he was not injured, according to a Facebook post from the Sarasota Police Department.

The sea plane was towed to the 10th Street boat ramp, according to police.

The Sarasota Police Department is investigating the incident.
