Annual RealRail Model Train Show

The 40th annual RealRail Model Train Show will feature a hobby mart with over 150 tables of railroading and model railroading merchandise, operating exhibits on many scales, an interactive N-scale T-Track layout, a train simulator, for the little ones the famous Comet layout and see the downtown Tampa built in Lego bricks, courtesy of the Lego Users Group. Rubonia/Terra Ceia Mardi Gras

Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County

Annual Creators and Collectors Tour

The Fine Arts Society of Sarasota invites the public to the 46th annual Creators and Collectors Tour, a self-guided art studio tour providing experienced and novice art lovers with an insider’s look at six private work spaces of Sarasota’s finest artists and 14 artists at Ringling College of Art and Design. Annual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

The green flag will drop on 13 total races during the 13th edition of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Additionally, the picturesque 1.8-mile temporary street circuit is the U.S. opener for all the racing series on the weekend schedule. Back by popular demand is the Speed Energy Stadium Super Trucks which add a unique dimension to the weekend. Lecture: The Lionfish Invasion

Bunker Hill Vineyard will host “Spirit and Orb Walks.” Guests must arrive by 6:30 p.m. for a 30-minute indoctrination and discussion of the night’s walk and activities.
