Tampa Bay Bucs player arrested on DUI charge
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested early Friday on DUI charges.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Seferian-Jenkins was stopped by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper just after 4 a.m. in Tampa.
He was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence and booked into Orient Road Jail.
Seferian-Jenkins had a DUI charge in 2013 while he was at the University of Washington.
A 2nd-round draft pick for the Bucs in 2014, Seferian-Jenkins caught a touchdown pass in the Bucs season-opening win at Atlanta.
The Bucs play their home opener Sunday at 4:05 p.m. against the Los Angeles Rams.
