Daytona Beach -- The Gladiators won the Florida Football Alliance Bowl Saturday, defeating the Miami Bulls 51-27. Deangelo Woodie, Craig Carnes, Joshua Shannon and Glenn Woods each scored a touchdown in the first quarter. Joshua Shannon and Brandon Johnson scored touchdowns in the second quarter to send the Gladiators into halftime with a 38-0 lead. The Bulls had a stronger second half with two touchdowns from To Show Johnson and one each from Alden Martinez and Speedy Jones. The Gladiators sealed the victory in the fourth quarter with touchdowns from Bonshavior Bean and Glen Woods. Joshua Shannon was named MVP offense, and To Show Johnson received MVP defense honors.
