2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series season preview

Looking at the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series:

Preseason Top 10

1. Chase Elliott, JR Motorsports: There is a lot left to accomplish before he moves to the Sprint Cup Series in 2016. Another title in this series ranks No. 1.

2. Ty Dillon, Richard Childress Racing: Dillon made great strides in 2014 and expect him to go toe-to-toe with Elliott battling for this season’s championship.

3. Brian Scott, Richard Childress Racing: He has been knocking on Victory Lane door for a while. It’s time to bust it down.

4. Elliott Sadler, Roush Fenway Racing: Will an offseason move from Joe Gibbs Racing to RFR change his fortunes when it comes to winning a NASCAR championship?

5. Chris Buescher, Roush Fenway Racing: Perhaps the most improved driver in the series in 2014. Has all the tools to become a top star in NASCAR.

6. Regan Smith, JR Motorsports: He has been fighting to get out of the shadow of his teammate. This would be a good time for a breakthrough season.

7. Brendan Gaughan, Richard Childress Racing: His move from Trucks to Xfinity paid off handsomely last season. Now, it’s time to see if he can produce the consistency necessary for a title.

8. Daniel Suarez, Joe Gibbs Racing: There will be a big learning curve for JGR’s development, driver but he appears to be a quick study.

9. Darrell Wallace Jr., Roush Fenway Racing: Wallace is hoping to be able to run the full season. It will definitely help him in his transition from the Truck series.

10. Dakota Armstrong, Richard Petty Motorsports: With a year under his belt at RPM, look for Armstrong to improve his consistency and perhaps contend for some wins.
