Here’s the full Pittsburgh Pirates spring training schedule at Bradenton’s LECOM Park
Major League Baseball is back at LECOM Park in Bradenton.
Last Thursday, Major League Baseball teams and the MLB players union finally came to terms on a labor dispute and ended a 99-day baseball lockout that resulted in a delayed 2022 Florida Grapefruit League season.
Teams will take to the mounds starting Thursday and play a regional game schedule. That means teams who host their spring training camps in west Florida will play each other.
West Coast Florida teams include the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays.
The Pittsburgh Pirates will start their spring season the day after St. Patrick’s Day, at LECOM Stadium in a match-up against the New York Yankees on Friday, March 18.
The Pittsburgh Pirates play 19 games straight, with nine games played at LECOM field, and the season will conclude on Wednesday, April 6.
