Marauders' Hanson hits 3-run homer in FSL All-Star Game

The Bradenton Marauders sent just one player to the Florida State League All-Star Game on Saturday, but Alen Hanson made sure his team was well-represented.

Hanson, a shortstop who hit leadoff, launched a three-run home run to lead the South Division All-Stars to an 8-1 victory over the North at Dunedin.

Two Marauders who were voted onto the team, pitcher Nick Kingham and outfielder Gregory Polanco, played for Double-A Altoona on Saturday after getting called up earlier this week. Kingham made his Double-A debut, allowing no runs and four hits, while striking out seven, over 5 2/3 innings in a 4-0 Curve victory over Trenton.
