Daytona 2, Bradenton 1

The Bradenton Marauders fell 2-1 to the Daytona Tortugas on Monday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

The Marauders scored their only run against Tejay Antone in the fourth inning, using a pair of ground outs to move Kevin Kramer around after a leadoff double. Antone pitched six innings and limited the Marauders to just six hits while striking out five. After the first two batters of the game reached, Bradenton did not gain consecutive baserunners again in the game.

Daytona took a 1-0 lead against Yeudy Garcia in the second inning. Garcia went five innings and struck out five in the loss.

Up next: The Marauders are off on Tuesday and host Fort Myers at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday night. Stephen Tarpley will be on the hill for the Marauders.
