Rain wipes out Sunday’s Bradenton Marauders games
This weekend’s series between the Bradenton Marauders and the Jupiter Hammerheads has been canceled due to widespread rain and wet field conditions.
The doubleheader between the two teams scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Sunday is another washout.
On Saturday, the Marauders and Hammerhead were scheduled to resume Friday’s game and play Saturday’s regularly scheduled game, but they were canceled due to rain.
Fans holding a ticket to any game from this weekend’s series may exchange it for a ticket to either home game next weekend. The Marauders host Fan Appreciation Night presented by WaWa on Saturday, Sept. 2. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Zambelli Fireworks will present postgame fireworks.
The statistics from Friday’s suspended game are not official and will not count in any official record.
