Tortugas rally for comeback win over Marauders

The Daytona Tortugas scored seven straight runs to erase a 4-0 deficit and knock off the Bradenton Marauders 7-5 on Thursday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

Ty Boyles hurled eight innings for Daytona in the win. Bradenton starter Cam Vieaux threw six innings in defeat and fell to 3-6.

Stephen Alemais provided early pop for the Bradenton offense. After a leadoff double in the first, Alemais came around to score on a ground out by Will Craig.

Alemais dunked a two-run single into right field as the Marauders built their 4-0 lead in the second.

The Tortugas received home runs from Malik Collymore and James Vasquez on the comeback trail, overcoming an 11-7 deficit in hits to Bradenton.
